The Beanacre Barn accommodation has been designed to provide modern comforts and convenience in a stylish traditional setting. It is hard to believe that prior to the conversion in 2003 it was a dilapidated old farm building with a hole in the roof!
Our aim was to create top quality holiday accommodation whilst remaining as faithful as possible to the original style and character of the building. We have therefore incorporated many traditional design features such as the stable door, exposed beams, oak framed wall, local craftsman-made doors & latches, flagstone and old pine wood floors. The decor features original local artifacts, craft items and artwork by KSGTextileArt.
The Barn is bright and particularly spacious, centrally heated throughout and fitted with modern double glazing. It has easy walking access. There is ample parking space for up to two cars directly outside the front door.
In the Beanacre Barn, we have attempted to create the holiday environment we would wish to enjoy ourselves. We have based the design on a high standard of equipment, top-quality furnishings and attractive, comfortable surroundings inside and out.

Kitchen
A modern traditionally styled kitchen, equipped to an extremely high standard to help make even this aspect of your holiday a pleasure!
Facilities include a ceramic hob and fan oven, microwave, dishwasher, large upright fridge/freezer and washing machine.
Top quality pots and pans, casserole, utensils and a corkscrew (of course)!
A tumble dryer is available on request.
Dining Area
The spacious dining area has a large pine table with seating for four.
An extensive set of quality crockery, cutlery and glassware is provided.
Sitting Room
With double doors which open on to the secluded patio, this delightful room is bright, cool and airy in summer. At the other end of the year however it can provide a cosy place to curl up and relax in front of the roaring log fire.
The Sitting Room is fully equipped with a ‘Smart’ HD ‘freeview’ television, a DVD/CD player and a SONOS wireless music system which enables you to play music from your phone or tablet or to listen to radio.
Internet access is available via a secure WiFi network.
The Relyon sofa bed (with sprung mattress) provides an additional double bed for your short stay visitors if required. We make a small extra charge for the use of the sofa bed.
The lighting may be dimmed to suit your mood.
Bedroom
The bedroom has comfortable twin beds with feather/down duvets & pillows, finest cotton bed linen and bedspreads.
There is ample storage and hanging space.
A television is provided and the room has adjustable lighting.
Shower Room
This room features a luxuriously spacious shower area with power shower, complemented by a wash basin, toilet and bidet.
Colour co-ordinated quality towels are provided.
